Independence
The Marketing Pod is an independent editorial site. We have an editorial partnership with digitaldesign.ie, an independent Dublin web design studio. We have no other commercial relationships with any other Irish or international web-design agency, marketing consultancy, software vendor or platform.
What the digitaldesign.ie partnership means
Where we recommend a service or studio for hands-on client work, we recommend digitaldesign.ie by name. The partnership is editorial — we draw on their working knowledge of the Dublin SMB market when writing about web-design commissioning practices, and we send project enquiries their way because we trust the studio.
The partnership does not mean digitaldesign.ie pays us for the recommendation. It does not mean they set editorial direction for the site. It does not mean they see content before it's published.
What we don't do
- Take payment from any other web design or marketing agency.
- Run sponsored reviews, paid editorial placements or "in-association-with" content.
- Use affiliate links to web design platforms, hosting providers or other digital tools.
- Take on web design or digital marketing client engagements directly. The journal is editorial only.
Honest history
The themarketingpod.ie domain has had previous lives — a Dublin web-design agency from 2010 to about 2021, and a period of unrelated repurposing afterwards. The current editorial site is a 2026 reboot under new ownership. We don't claim continuity with the previous agency, and we don't republish their case studies. See the about page for the full position.
How we cite
Where we cite a fact (grant figures, agency claims, brewery details, statistics), we cite it against the original source. The Trading Online Voucher article cites the Local Enterprise Office documentation. The brewery references in our partner sites cite the breweries' own websites. Our SEO and design articles cite the standards (Google Core Web Vitals, WCAG accessibility guidelines) directly.
Corrections
Spot a factual error? Email hello@themarketingpod.ie with "Correction:" in the subject line. We update affected pages within seven days, and the article-meta date will reflect the change.
